The treated zone starts as a trench along the foundation, dug and backfilled inside one visit so the yard is not left open.

A 1915 four-square in Ghent does not have a foundation so much as a field of brick columns, and every column is a separate route from soil to sill. Miss four piers in a back corner and you have not protected the house, you have rerouted the colony.

The enclosed porches and add-ons common on Park Place duplexes get drilled and injected where their slabs meet the original wall, because that seam is a favorite entry point.

01 Can you treat a Ghent house on brick piers without tearing up the yard or the plaster?
Yes. The work happens in the soil: a narrow trench along the foundation, individual treatment around each crawl space pier, and small patched drill holes where concrete meets the house. Nothing structural gets opened, and the trench closes back over the same day the crew digs it.
02 Ocean View floods on a bad tide. Does that change how you treat?
It changes how we plan. Termiticide labels set rules for applying near a high water table, so on sandy Ocean View and Willoughby lots we schedule around soil conditions and adjust trench depth and placement to the site.
